Today I want to do a ‘warts and all’ review of a product called Gray Hair No More. I’ve been using the product myself for 6 months now, and although I haven’t totally reversed my gray hair, I have to say there are definite signs that the graying has stopped in its tracks. This is after a 12 month period in which the graying had accelerated considerably! So without further ado, here is my Gray Hair No More User Review:

What is Gray Hair No More?

Gray Hair No More is a natural home remedy ‘program’ with the sole purpose of stopping, and in many cases reversing your grey hair. The product, which is presented in the form of an electronic e-book, was written by a man called Alexander Miller, who himself suffered with grey hair. After a great deal with research and trial and error he found an effective solution to his gray hair problem, based primarily around herbal remedies and supplements.

I should warn you that you do need to put some time and effort into the program and follow it closely; otherwise you are unlikely to get the results you are after. If you don’t relish the idea of following a strict(ish) program then you should look for a different approach.

A Break down of Gray Hair No More

As previously mentioned the product is provided in the form of a digital e-book download, which has the added convenience of being available for you immediately. The price of the program is $37. It’s broken down into 8 separate chapters which cover a variety of treatments, some of which are psychological in nature (such as methods for reducing stress).

The core of the program, however, is the daily and monthly ‘regime’. It’s a daily program that you need to really stick to if you want to achieve the results you’re looking for. Like anything if you are the sort of person that has ‘sticking power’ and can follow a routine you should achieve good results. Don’t expect results overnight however-

In summary- My Gray Hair No More Review

Here’s a quick and snappy summary of the good and not so good points about the product:

<script type="text/javascript"

Good Points

It’s a digital product that you can download immediately. This means you can even upload it to your Kindle (which is exactly what I did!)

You receive a number of bonus ebook programs, including an excellent one on hair loss.

The program is broken down into simple steps and is really easy to follow.

The routine is very simple to follow

All the required remedies are natural herbal remedies

The support available is really good. If you do have any questions then Alexander is a very helpful.

There is a 100% 60 day money-back guarantee. So if you aren’t happy with the product you can get your money back!

No need for expensive equipment. You can follow the program at home.

Bad Points

I would have liked to have received some video guides or instructions (then again, the program is pretty easy to follow!).

There is a small extra outlay required for the supplements.

In Conclusion

Overall whilst this is not an immediate ‘wonder cure’ I have been very happy with the results I’ve achieved with the program. It’s stopped my greying in its tracks, which I have to say I’m happy with, as I don’t really like dyeing my hair! You do need to give it some time, however, and shouldn’t expect results ‘overnight’.

If you’re anything like me you’re dealing with the twin ‘evils’ of thinning hair and also greying hair. And because there’s lots of other people in my shoes I thought I would touch upon the subject of hair loss in today’s article.

I first started noticing that my hair was receding in my late twenties. I must admit that at first I felt really quite depressed about this, and it badly effected my self esteem. I’m much more accepting of it now that I’m in my late thirties. I’ve also had some success in receding the spread of my thinning hair with various treatments and natural remedies. It is these that I want to talk about in this article.

There are dozens of possible causes for excessive thinning or loss of hair, many of which are capable of affect both men and women of all ages. Health conditions, medications, and even stress can lead to hair loss. Use the information in this handpicked selection of tips to brush up on your hair loss knowledge.

In terms of supplements there are a few that you should consider adding to your diet. A good fatty acid supplement such as omega 3 oil or flax seed oil is a good idea. In addition you may want to consider adding Kelp to your diet.

Its important to keep the testosterone related DHT from building up to high levels in your body as it can lead directly to hair loss. The good news is that there are herbal remedies that you can take that can help. Natural herbs like saw palmetto are very effective in slowing DHT and and can retard and sometimes block it from reaching your hair follicles. And whilst this probably won’t stop your hair loss, in most cases it can help to slow down its progress.

As with any other area relating to your health make sure that you eat a healthy and balanced diet as this will ensure that your hair gets the nutrients it requires. Eat a wide range of healthy and nutritious foods from the major food groups, and ensure you eat plenty of fruit and veg.

Hopefully this article has shown you that there are indeed practical steps you can take to help address your hair loss, steps that should also help your general levels of health. And if like me, you are dealing with both grey hair and hair loss it will make you feel a little bit better about your situation!

It would seem that, despite the accelerated greying caused by the stresses and worry of the world’s biggest job in politics, American presidents actually live longer than most! According to an article in Discovery.com which quotes a study by the JMA, U.S presidents tend to live longer than average for men of their backgrounds and generations. This seems to run contrary to the received wisdom that stress and anxiety can shorten life. Of course, as we all know there are different types of stress- both good (eustress) and bad (distress) and the mental and physiological effects of each are very different.

One things is for sure, however- holding high office certainly makes your hair turn gray that much quicker! It’s not just in the States that we’ve seen this phenomenon. Us Brits will remember how quickly Tony Blair aged over the course of only 3 to 4 years, and lost his once youthfull looks very quickly- this included greying hair! Then again, the grey hair does kind of suit Mr Obama!

Whilst I have been following my wider programme to help minimise and retard the spread of grey hair on my head, I have also been growing a beard for the first time. I’ve never grown a beard in all my 37 years, and just wanted to see what it would look like. At the same time, I wanted to keep my chops warm in the winter months! Of course, as I got to week 3 of growing my beard I noticed a patch of grey beard hair on and around my chin, which was very much at odds with the colour of the rest of my beard (a mid brown in colour). I decided I would give the Just for Men Beard dye product a go, as I’d seen it advertised quite a bit on the old goggle-box!

Application of the gel is really quite easy. All you do is apply the 2 part gel, let it set for the specified amount of tume and then rinse out with warm water (followed by a second wash with soap to ensure your face is clean and any residue is removed). Personally I found the product was very effective. Of course, it doesnt last forever and as your beard grows you will find that you need to apply more. I found that I needed to apply more roughly every 2-3 weeks, but that the pack lasted at least 4 applications. Of course, depending on the area you need to treat you may get more or less applications than I did.

Overall I would say that this is a great product, though you must be careful to ensure that you are not allergic to it, and always follow the instructions on the packet to test a small area first.

I’d love to hear readers comments on their own experiences with this product! You can get the product from numerouse suppliers. I tend to get it from Amazon, here:

I talked about the importance of reducing stress in your life to help reduce the spread of grey hair in an earlier post. Indeed, stress and anxiety are two of the biggest factors when it comes to the acceleration of this phenomenon.

However, whilst it may appear easy in theory to reduce the stress in your life, just how easy is this in reality? I hope to show you one or two techniques that I have personally used in my own life, with a degree of success:

Meditation- Simply spend 10 to 15 minutes a day meditating. Either attend a class to learn how to do this or buy one of the many meditation CD’s available online

Listening to Classical Music- I find listening to classical music one of the easiest ways to relax and unwind. Of course you should listen to something light and relaxing. Personally I’m a big fan of Bach.

Audio Tapes/CD’s- There are various audio programmes available that teach you relaxation techniques as well as methods for dealing with the various stresses of life. Personally I’m a big fan of ‘Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff’.

Long Walks- Just going for a twenty minute walk 2 or 3 times a day lifts your spirits, and helps you to de-stress your body. If you don’t believe me give it a try!

Owning a Cat- Studies have shown that owning a cat, and stroking it actually relaxes the body and helps to control high blood pressure. Miaow!

Taking a break or holiday- We all need to take a break sometimes. If you don’t have the time or money to take a vacation abroad then try to take a couple of long weekends a way each year.

Of course this is just a short list of activities. I’m sure if you complete a brainstorming session that there are many other activities, sports, or hobbies that you can immerse yourself in that will have a calming effect on your body AND mind. Good luck!

One of the most pressing and persistent questions that we are asked is ‘what causes gray hair?’ The truth is that scientists and even herbologists cannot agree precisely on the causes of greying hair. That said, there are certain contributory factors which, when looked at as a whole can help to explain why certain people gray much earlier than others. We’ll look at each in turn:

1. Age- A pretty obvious factor really! And whilst it is certainly turn that people can start greying as early as their teens, most people don’t start greying until their late twenties or early thirties. By the time they have reached their forties most people will display some form of grey hair, to varying degrees. It’s a simple biological fact that as people age they lose the pigmentation in their hair, which is known as melanin. The less melanin present in the hair follicles, the more gray their hair will appear.

2. Genetics- Depending on our genetic make-up we are more less pre-disposed to form grey hair as we get older. And whilst you can minimise the rate at which you grey through a healthy lifestyle and diet, your core genetic make-up cannot be changed. Generally speaking if your folks are pre-disposed to tray hair it is highly likely that you will too!

3. Medical or Health Problems- Underlying medical conditions can lead to accelerated greying of the hair. In particular people with a deficiency in B12 vitamin often find their hair greying early. In addition, those with anemia or thyroid problems often display the very same symptoms.

4. Smoking- Believe it or not, the act of smoking can actually cause the body to suppress and therefore reduce the presence of melanin in the body. In turn this leads to accelerated greying. Yet another reason to add to the long list for why you should kick this habit!

5 Emotional Shock, Trauma and Stress- Arguably this factor beats all the others in terms of the causes of gray hair. Many people who have experienced a highly traumatic event such as an accident, find that their hair can turn gray literally overnight. Hard to believe I know, but true nonetheless! If you do find that you are starting to show the signs of greying hair it’s very important to take a look at your life and lifestyle and attempt to identify any stress patterns of triggers, as it is precisely this stress that can be the root cause.

What Causes Gray Hair?- Conclusion

Hopefully this short article has give you an introduction to the causes of gray hair. And whilst it is true that certain factors, such as genetics, cannot be avoided, it is also very much the case that you CAN take practical steps to reduce and even stop the signs of greying, chief of which is the adoption of a healthy diet and lifestyle, and actively seeking ways of reducing stress and anxiety in your life. Why not take a look at my article, Gray Hair Treatments for more guidance. Good luck

If you are suffering from grey hair, whether its prematurely or part of the natural ageing process, you should give special care over the kind of great hair shampoo that you select and use on a regular basis. Just as your body needs nutrients to flourish and remain healthy so your hair also needs a range of nutrients. This is especially true when you are showing signs of greying. There are varieties of gray hair shampooon the market that include dyes that, over time, can help to restore your natural colour. However do treat these with caution and make sure if you do use them, select one that is very mild in nature. Two key nutrients in maintaing the health of your hair are Omega 3 and also Vitamin B12. As well as ensuring that you have a diet that is rich in these nutrients (plenty of greens and also oily fish) you can actually fins shampoos on the market that contain these nutrients as well. Of course, just using this kind of shampoo won’t ensure a grey free head of hair. But, combined with a healthy and nutritious diet, an exercise regime, supplements and a stress reduction programme you certainly can fight the signs of greying hair. I do hope that you found this article on gray hair shampoo useful.

Today, I’m going to take a detour round the corners of our minds! A scary place I know (at least in my case!) You will be forgiven for thinking ‘Why the hell is he going on about the mind when I want to learn about combatting my gray hair?’

Well, I’m not alone in thinking that there is a MASSIVE connection between the overall health and condition of the mind and the body. Doctors and biologists used to believe that the mind was separate from the physical body. We now know, however, that the two are intrinsically linked, and are in fact one and the same. There have been innumerable studies on this link, and scientists have proven beyond all reasonable doubt that your attitude of mind affects your physical well being.

I have personally seen a friend of mine go through a really tough 3 month period, where they effectively had a nervous breakdown, brought on by stress. At the start of this period they had no grey hair but by the end at least 25 % of their hair was grey. Without a doubt this was caused by excessive stress and worry.

I am prone to worry myself (yes, I’m a sensitive soul) so I can appreciate how difficult it can be to combat stress and worry. When it comes to preventing premature greying, however, it is absolutely essential. Don’t worry, there are some really easy practical things you can do:

Take time out each day to relax. Personally I like to go for a light walk. Don’t kid yourself that you don’t have time- we can all find ten minutes during the day to find time for ourselves. This is SO important!

Learn to meditate. There are loads of meditation classes for beginners available, whether you live in the USA, UK or Europe. If you don’t want to take a class then why not use one of Paul Mc Kenna’s meditation CDs. Personally I swear by his book Control Stress: Stop Worrying and Feel Good Now! It includes some great tips in the book and a brilliant hypnosis CD that I find really relaxing- It also implants some positive anti-stress messages into your subconscious mind.

Lower Your Stress Tolerance- Yes, I know this seems counter-intuitive. But you actually need to identify the very first signs that you are getting stressed. Then take 5 or 10 minutes away from the situation that’s affecting you. I find it helps to write down the cause of my stress, and then write down 3 or 4 practical steps to regain control.

1 hour before bed drink a glass of camomile tea- It really helps to relax you and get you prepared for a good nights sleep!

I would strongly recommend you read the book Perfect Health by Deepak Chopra as well. Its a fantastic read by a man at the very top of the medical profession, who has a background in BOTH traditional Western AND Ayurvedic medicine. It’s full of great advice on how to achieve total health in your body and mind, and in the process help with the ageing and greying process. It also explains how powerful the link is between the mind and body, and how the mind plays a high told in your overall levels of health and well-being A must-read! If you are interested in taking a holistic, herbal approach to greying hair then you should read my Gray Hair No More review, a product with which I have had some success. It does require that you stick to a daily regimen however, so it’s not for everyone!

I hope these tips have proved useful for you. Don’t forget that you can use your mind to help your overall health and well being, and also really slow down the affects of greying hair. Good luck!

I have been suffering from greying hair for around 10 years now, ever since I entered my late twenties, and ever since that time I have been searching for a natural gray hair treatment that actually works. Ironically enough I found that this greying coincided with my hairline receding at the same time (yes, nature seems to have a sense of humour!)

Of course, both a receding hairline AND greying hair are 2 of the most ageing things for a guy to go through. I don’t mind admitting that at first I became a little depressed about both of these things. After all, at the age of 27 it can seem quite an early age to be suffering from these things. And of course, it had a knock-on effect on my confidence and self-esteem- for a while there I really lost my way, got really down and kind of hid myself away from everyone! So guys and gals, if you are suffering from one or both of these things you have my full sympathy- I know how it can knock your confidence, and that, however rational other people’s advice and kind words may be, you still find yourself locked in a cycle of low self esteem and confidence.

Eventually I came to accept my receding hairline, and I found that by applying a buzz cut to my hair (rather than trying to hide my receding bonce) proved quite effective. In effect, I decided to surrender to the fact that I no longer had as full a head of hair as I once did.

A positive side effect of this shorter cut is that it effectively reduced how noticeable my gray hair was. And so, my first really useful tip for guys with greying hair is this:

TIP NUMBER 1- CUT YOUR HAIR SHORT TO MINIMISE THE EFFECT OF THE GRAY!

The next key thing I realised was that getting depressed and stressed about my receding hair and grey hair seemed to make things worse. It actually accelerated the effects of my hair loss and greying. After doing tons of online research and reading a lot of medical books on the subject I came to the conclusion that one of the most effective forms of gray hair treatment is ‘mental’ in nature. In other words, your mental attitude and habitual thinking effects your physical reality and condition.

I started to train myself to think more positively about myself. I reads loads of self-help books, and holistic health books by the likes of Deepak Chopra. I decided to focus and concentrate on my positive aspects and qualities, and also took a decision to remove as much stress from my life as possible- I left a very stressful job to focus on my photography (a real passion of mine). This had a very positive impact, not only in terms of retarding the greying and hair loss, but my overall health and well being. And so, my second tip is this:

TIP NUMBER 2- MAINTAIN A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE AND REDUCE THE STRESS LEVELS IN YOUR LIFE.

There are so many ways of doing this, and I will share some techniques with you in later posts. But as a starter, I would suggest taking up meditation or yoga- or ideally both! Both activities are incredibly healing for your body and mind, and can massively reduce the stress levels in your nervous system.

That’s it for today’s lesson in battling the gray. In another post I will share a review of an E-Book Course that I bought that was extremely effective for me in battling the grey. In the meantime I do hope that you found this article useful and start to apply some of these tips. After all, if these tray hair treatments worked for me, they can certainly work for you.
